Ingredients
¾ cup of garden cress seeds(halim)
1 tbsp ghee
½ cup chopped jaggery (gur)
¼ cup semolina (suji)
1 tbsp grated coconut
¼ cup powdered almonds (badam)
STEPS:
Soak the garden seeds in ½ cup water for 3 hours. Do not drain the water.
Heat ghee in a non-sticky deep pan, add the soaked cress seeds, jaggery, semolina,mix well and cook on a medium flame till the jaggery melts. Stir continuously.
Add coconut and almonds, mix well.
Let the mixture cool and then divide the mixture to make laddus, in the shape of round balls.
